Study Overview
This study examines how the brain changes as women become mothers or begin working with children, the psychological factors that shape these changes, and the impact of these changes on parenting and infant    development.

The study includes completion of questionnaires (one hour) and lab visits (1-2 hours) at three time points. During lab visits participants’ brain activity is monitored while listening to and viewing infant emotional expressions. 

Compensation
Participants receive $50 after each time point (three total) and an additional $50 after completing all time points for a total of $200. 

Eligibility
Women (18+ yrs) starting work in a daycare or as a nanny/babysitter for the first time, right-handed, no significant head injury or neurological disorder.
